squeezing bees

just grabbed the 2nd bee in 3 days, from the same sponge by my sink!

i pick up the sponge without looking, and suddenly i am holding a tiny fierce ember.

honeybees die when they sting. i cried the other night--not from the pain, but from the anguish of extinguishing that tiny life.

today i am just sad.
