time warp

i think i wrote my last post on a borrowed iPad since my laptop took a downturn and i had a week or so that i was computer-free.  the new model is a mini laptop (Toshiba) that was gifted me from a friend whose father gave it to her, but she did not need it so was happy to pass it on to me gratis.  of course i gave her a treatment to reciprocate!  massage is a great barter, i must say!

so....i am housesitting way over here on the east side of Tucson, in that great big beautiful house with the giant aquarium and the fabulous grassy back yard and the 2 nice black dogs.  i get paid to stay here and care for all of it.  the garden (that yours truly planted in the fall during another stint here) is in full production with lots of kale, chard, some peas, plenty lettuce, kinda puny lookin' beets.  but the greens are vibrant and plentiful so of course i'll harvest some of them later on.

tomorrow i'm helping to host a baby shower for the now-7.5-months-gone beautiful woman i get to call DIL!  i'm getting verrry excited to see this little guy.  he'll be making his appearance sometime in the first half of March.  6 weeks or less to go!

i do not have a lot to say but wanted to let my readership know that it's not all tears and whining from this little corner of the world.  feels like everyone i know is running as fast as they can and still not getting everything done.  i sure feel that way, and i have a very easy life, schedule-wise.  i do think that time is moving much faster, and will continue to speed up until we reach the coming Golden Age.  but a lot of shit is coming down before that happens.  i only wish that i am able to follow my heart when the chips hit the fan!
